What's New at Park Heights Cemetery!
Please consider joining us at our quarterly meetings (normally in January, April, July & October). We are always interested in fresh ideas and would love YOUR input as to how to make Park Heights Cemetery better. Play an active part by providing suggestions or by attending the meetings. Help out during one of our two clean-up days (usually in March and October). Give as little or as much time as you wish. Any amount of participation is welcome!

Be active in YOUR local cemetery.
The curb along the driveway has been replaced!
We've added railings to the cemetery entry steps on Gum Spring Road. This will make it easier and safer to access the cemetery from the Gum Spring pathway.
We have continued to have problems with Facebook. Therefore, we will no longer maintain a Facebook page.
We have added Lot Location Posts throughout the cemetery. Each post indicates the number of the lot on each side of the path. We hope this will make it easier for visitors to locate the grave they are looking for.
Our Index and Monument Photo Gallery have had a face lift! You can now click on a name in the Index and see the monument quick and easy. Try it out for a test run!
This spring Dr Wayne and Vicki Allgaier coordinated the concrete repair for the Gum Spring Entrance by Randy Shores and then they painted the columns, wall and steps. Jackie Ebersole worked on the garden area above the wall. Everything looks so beautiful. Check out the new photos under the Gallery, Special Events tab!
Starting back in April 2017 and then continuing in 2019, both sides of the front wall at the Cemetery underwent cleanup and repair. Young people from Boy Scout Troops 324 and 277 wire brushed, power-washed, smoothed, patched, and painted the front and back of the wall. To see more photos of all the hard work that was done, go to the Special Event Photos under Gallery.
On Thursday, May 18, 2017, one of our beautiful dogwoods was destroyed by bad weather. The damage was so severe the tree had to be removed.

We are looking for photos of the arch that used to span the driveway at the entrance to the Cemetery. Please contact us if you have any photos or know where some are located.
We look forward to receiving your comments, just 'Contact Us'.
